What Is Pay Per Click (PPC) Marketing?

Google Ads: More Than Just Search Engine Marketing?

Google Ads are much more than just search engine marketing. While many people think of Google Ads as only the text ads that appear on Google Search results (show example) the Google Ads platform actually spans a vast, interconnected ecosystem of advertising channels, offering advertisers access to search, video, display, email, apps, maps, and more—all backed by Google’s unmatched user data to deliver highly targeted and effective ads.

The Significant Advantage Of Google Ads

Because Google owns and integrates ads across these diverse platforms, it collects an immense amount of data about users—far more than most other companies.

Google has 70 million demographic and psychographic profiling factors per user, dwarfing even Facebook’s 55,000 factors.

Google Ads show your ads only to people who are actively looking to buy.

With potentially tens or even hundreds of thousands of people searching for your product every month, why not give them what they’re searching for? While other social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest can also yield great results, when it comes to making a buying decision, people tend to turn to Google.

In fact, a whopping 67% of users who are ready to make a purchase decision click on a PPC (pay-per-click) ad.

That’s right, 2 out of 3 people click on a PPC ad when they’re ready to buy!

The best part about Google Ads is that you only pay when someone clicks on your ad, so you don’t waste money on ads that don’t convert. Plus, you’ll gain valuable data that can be used to optimize your campaigns and improve your products or services.

Not only are you reaching your target audience, but you’re also collecting potent data to help your business succeed.

Common PPC FAQ's

What size accounts does Direct Contact Marketing support?

With nearly a decade of experience, we have worked from startups to popular brands spending over $300,000 per month! Because PPC is a premium service, we usually don’t work with ad budgets under $3k a month. However, we have been able to successfully generate positive ROAS for companies of all sizes.

Which ad platforms does Direct Contact Marketing work with?

We work with all types of Google Ads campaigns, such as Search, YouTube, Display, Shopping and all others, as well as Microsoft/Bing Ads. We do not typically offer paid social services except for limited cases for established customers, and industries that perform well with social.

What is your pricing model?

We charge a predictable monthly flat fee plus a small percentage of monthly ad budget. This percentage of adspend scales down as ad budget scales up. We do have a flat minimum fee for all accounts, which is why we typically don’t work with ad budgets under $3k/mo.

Is this service expensive?

Direct Contact Marketing is a highly specialized PPC agency that works with every client on a personal level. We service clients at a low volume, ensuring our services stay high quality and with outstanding performance. That said, we believe, you get what you pay for. We offer a premium service and as the old saying goes “When you buy a premium, you buy it once, when you buy cheap, you buy it twice.”

Which markets and industries do you support?

Because we specialize in PPC advertising, certain industries & markets unfortunately don’t pair well with Google Ads. The main reason being low demand in any given area. For example, if you are trying to generate 100+ leads per month in a small town of less than 10,000 population, chances are you won’t even have 100 google searches in a given month, let alone leads.

Who controls the Google Ads account?

Simply put, we will never control or own your account – that’s your data! You need your own Google Ads account, so that you can add payment details and fund your own account, and we gain access & manage your account. If you ever want to leave, no hard feelings! You get to keep your account and your data!

Do you use any automation or AI in your management?

We don’t use any automated tools to directly manage your account. A real, live media buyer manages your campaign directly. We do however use certain forms of automated bidding and campaign types that are proven to generate exceptional results.…but it’ll never be on autopilot.
